This whole project has been a bit of a joke (a very big joke!) but has also been an absolute blast. Bit Slicer is a universal game trainer that allows you to cheat in video games by searching and modifying values such as your score, lives, ammunition, and much more. The site is in the period at the end of this sentence. CSS masking is awesome (and really powerful). I added some basic animations with nice looking cubic-bezier curves. I made an incredibly simple and good looking tooltip with plain ole CSS (which I would have used a package for earlier). HTML has a highlight element,, it even has a fully supported color picker. I'm guilty of finding some quick npm package or pre-made component to do the thing I want to do, but this project showed me how powerful the basics can be. Pure HTML, CSS, and JS can do more than you think (or at least more than I thought) I got it to a point that I was happy with speed-wise, but it was frustrating because adding incredibly simple stuff like a couple fonts, images on page load, and some analytics caused the whole site to slow down considerably.Ĥ. I ended up using Cloudflare pages (which has an incredible, almost illegal feeling, free tier with unlimited bandwidth btw).
